The 'Timer with Sections' tool provides support during various performances such as talks, keynote speeches, seminars, lectures, and workouts by offering visually intuitive timing guidance.

It facilitates the division of available time into manageable 'sections'. During your performance, you have the flexibility to adjust the schedule on the fly by either moving time across sections with a simple swipe gesture – for situations like audience feedback necessitating changes in specific sections or employing the pause button – for instances where extra time is required to address audience questions effectively.

Key Features:
<ul>
<li>Structuring Performance: Enables the division of available time into sections.</li>
<li>Time Visualization: Intuitively presents remaining and elapsed time for both current section and entire performance. The interface utilizes red to show elapsed time and green for remaining time. The current section's used and remaining time are represented in an inner disc, with the title in the center; while an outer ring displays the total performance duration. Paused time is shown in dark red, while any surplus time gained through section editing appears in dark green.</li>
<li>Alarm Functionality: Allows for setting alarms to signal the end of each section with a short tick sound. Note: Phone vibrations indicate alarm activation when "vibrate" is enabled in sound settings.</li>
<li>Time Management During Performance: Offers advanced options for dynamically adjusting section lengths while a performance is ongoing, without interrupting, pausing unless pre-planned, extending, or shortening current activities.</li>
</ul>

Possible adjustments include:
<ul>
<li>Pausing: Holding time intended for the present segment by reducing a later one.</li>
<li>Skipping: Directly moving through remaining current section time to extend a subsequent part.</li>
<li>Resetting: Resetting elapsed time for the current segment by reducing a later one to zero.</li>
</ul>

Exiting the Application:
<ul>
<li>If leaving the performance assistant view or closing the application, the timer continues running. Upon re-entering, it will resume from where you left off. An automatic pause is activated if interruptions like pressing the home button or receiving calls occur during a performance.</li>
</ul>

Logging Performance:
<ul>
<li>An option to log completed performances for further analysis. Data including actual runtime and skipped segment times are stored for future reference and improvement adjustments via email export.</li>
</ul>

Tips:
<ul>
<li>Rehearsal Practice: Utilize the Performance Assistant tool during rehearsals to evaluate and adjust your time requirements through log file analysis.</li>
<li>Buffer Time Consideration: Incorporate a reducible section at the end of your performance comprising optional topics or a general discussion to serve as a buffer. This allows for segment pausing if necessary.</li>
</ul>
